Neil Harvey to head Credit Suisse's Asia asset mgmt biz

Harvey has rich experience in the Asia Pacific region, he has worked for 10 years in Hong Kong for Credit Suisse before quitting the firm in 2006 to open Bennelong Asset Management. While, Salman Shoaib, has been leading the Credit Suisse"s Asia Pacific asset management business in the last 18 months would become Credit Suisse Head of Corporate Development for the region. Commenting on the appointment Shafir said, "Developing the Asia Pacific region and building out our global emerging markets" offering and clients is core to asset management"s growth strategy across our division and businesses."
