Nifty ends up 44pts

The NSE Nifty ended (provisional) at 4,568, up 44 points. The BSE Sensex ended (provisional) at 15,378, up 147 points. ___________________________________________________________ Obama proposes substantial jump in aid to Pak Oil rises on bullish US manufacturing data The NSE Nifty touched a high of 4,578, up 55 points. The Nifty is now at 4,571, up 47 points. Tata Motors has zoomed 9.5% to Rs 373. Maruti Suzuki has surged 6.5% and Suzlon over 6% to Rs 1,380 and Rs 102, respectively. DLF, Hero Honda, HCL, Sterlite, Idea, ONGC, Unitech and Jindal Steel have added 3-4.5% each. Ambuja Cement, SBI, HDFC, Sun Pharma, Reliance, SAIL and Cipla are among the losers. The Sensex is now at 15,378, up 147 points. The market breadth is positive - out of 2,725 stocks, 1,736 have advanced and 910 have declined so far.
