Public CompanySuven in talks with global drug makers for licensing deal: CEO
Drug maker Suven Life Sciences is in talks with four global pharma majors for a licensing deal for its Alzheimer drug SUVN-502, a top company official said today.

"We are in talks with four global pharma companies, who have shown their interest in the possible licensing deals for SUVN-502," Suven Life Sciences Chairman & CEO Venkat Jasti said on the sidelines of CII Life Science Conclave here.
However, he refused to disclose the name of any global drug majors, which have shown interest in deal for SUVN-502 that is in the developing stage.
"We have received overwhelming response from interested parties for the deal," Jasti said. He refused to give details about the size of deal.
Suven, which is looking for fund raising options to meet the clinical development expenditure for SUVN-502, expects to earn a good revenue through this deal.
Shares of Suven today closed at Rs 34.90, up 0.43 per cent from its previous close on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
