Ranibai Rajaram Chhabria, the mother of the late Manohar Rajaram ‘Manu’ Chhabria, has challenged in court the merger of Shaw Wallace with Vijay Mallya’s United Spirits, the Press Trust of India reported a few days ago. US markets edge up on quarterly nos

US markets edged up on Friday as quarterly results were declared by Oracle and Research In Motion. The Nasdaq jumped 32 points (1.5%) to 2,212. The Dow added 21 points to 10,329. - FIIs net sellers Rs 622cr in F&O on Friday - Infosys weak on senior officials" exit - Sensex ends down 201pts - Sensex flat; Tata Motors up 3% - Markets still in red - Sensex opens weak on global cues Indian ADRs were mostly up. Tata Communications surged 6.3% to $15.35. Patni Computers gained 3.5% at $20.29. Wipro, Dr Reddy"s and Genpact added 3% each. Satyam Computers was up 2% at $4.97. Infosys and Tata Motors also moved up. However, MTNL slipped 1% to $3.
